Zoo Atlanta GorillasThe Zoo maintains a family focused environment. Visitors of all ages come to learn and be awed by the beauty and diversity of our animal friends. Zoo Atlanta is open 363 days a year, closing only on Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day. There are always exciting things going on at the Zoo including animal keeper talks, training demonstrations, fun shows, animal encounters and more! 

Young ones will enjoy KIDZone where they can ride the train, carousel and rock climber. At the Children’s Zoo they’ll be hands-on at the petting zoo, see Giant Tortoises, kangaroos and tamarins.

The Asian Forest is home to the Giant Pandas, tigers and orangutans. The World of Reptiles and Exotic Birds exhibits will have you looking all around for interesting and beautiful creatures.
